Do you need a boating license to ride the boards?
Whether a boating license is required for riding the boards depends on the regulations of the country in which the boards will be used. In China & Germany you do not need a driver’s license for watercrafts with less than 15 horsepower. No drivers licence is therefore required for riding a jetfly board in Germany*.  Whether need license please complying with local regulations

Is there an age limit for riding the boards?
Tianyun Geek, as manufacturer has defined a minimum age of 18 years for the usage of its jetboards. However, the legal requirements of the country in which the board is used apply.

Is there a weight limit for riding the boards?
The recommended weight limit for riding the boards is 150kg. Please note that if you weigh over 150kg you might experience difficulties when riding the boards.

Can the boards be used in all public waters?
The regulations and restrictions for water traffic are defined on a regional level. The user of the board is responsible for complying with local regulations*.

Can you ride waves with the jetfly boards?
While calm water is optimal for riding a Jetfly board, the boards can be used in waves and it is possible to ride waves with the boards. Please note that there is an additional risk of personal injury and damaging the boards when used in waves.

How long does it take to assemble and disassemble the jetfly boards?
You can easily assemble and disassemble the jetfly board battery pack in less than five minutes,no other tools are needed.

Can you charge the batteries using the outlet in a car or a boat?
The power supply for charging the batteries should be 7 Ampere and 230-volt with a minimum of 1,5kW. While this power-supply is not provided in standard cars, it should not be a problem to charge the batteries in most larger-sized boats, where more powerful generators are standard.

Can I extend the daily running time of my jetfly board?
Yes, it is possible to extend your boards’ running time by using an additional battery. In comparison with other board systems where a build-in-battery is used, Jetfly boards features a simple plug-and-play battery system that allows for a fast battery change. By using an additional battery, you can more than double your boards daily running time. Please note that the riding style and weight of the user, as well as the weather conditions (wind, waves) influence the battery’s running time.

How much does an additional battery cost?

How much are the shipping costs?
We distribute the boards through our network of dealers. Shipping cost are therefore dependent on and is determined by the respective dealers.

Can the Jetfly boards be customized?
Customization of the board may be possible depending on the order quantity and customization request.

When is the  gas surfboard available for purchase?
The Gas surfboard currently only exists as a prototype and the board is planned to be launched in the next upcoming years. The exact point in time has not yet been determined.

What do I do if I have technical issues with my board?
If you experience technical issues with your board, please refer to the operator manual. If you are in need of further assistance, please contact your dealer from whom you bought your board.

What guarantee conditions are offered when buying a Jetfly board?
In addition to the statutory manufacturer warranty (see terms and conditions), an additional guarantee may be offered by the individual dealers. For more information related to guarantee conditions, please contact your respective dealer.

Is the technology of the current Jetfly boards compatible with the technology of the 'old' boards?
No, the board technology was completely reconstructed and advanced improvements were made.

In which countries can I purchase and use the Jetfly board?
The Jetfly is currently approved for sale in the EU, USA, Asian, Middle East market and also complies with the relevant EU directives in the form of the CE declaration of conformity. Any necessary registration or certification in additional markets outside the above is in progress, and the development of new markets is planned for 2023.

What is the current delivery time for Electric board or Rescue boards?
At the moment there is sufficient inventory available so that orders can be shipped within a few days.
